When I was young I just wanted a saddle horse, not a work horse and I
got a Morgan mare but never got her papers. She was my friend and a
wonder horse. I told her all my problems.  I think she was Brunk as she
came from Ten Sleep WY and anyway this sealed my love of the Morgan
horse. Her name was Nicolette

I have always had a horse even if it was my Dad's work horse and he
always wanted a small work horse, hopefully part or half Morgan. I grew
up knowing Morgans were the best horses to own. Easy keepers, not real
big but could out pull some of the big horses.  Not only could they out
pull they could do about anything you asked of them. Here is a picture
of me on one of my Dad's work horses when I was about 8 years old.
